Background :

Established in 1934, the Bonnières sur Seine facility of Singer S.A. (now SINTECH) was dedicated to the manufacture of electric motors for various SINGER products.

In 1986, SINGER restructured the company under the name of SINTECH S.A., a subsidiary of SSMC USA (the SINGER SEWING MACHINE COMPANY). The firm remained dedicated to the design and manufacture of universal electric motors for the appliance industry.

In 1994, SINTECH FRANCE was incorporated in its present form and registered in Versailles as a producer cooperative company. The leading activity was in the field of household appliances and the search for new markets resulted in the development of new products adapted to other applications and particularly to more "technical" products.

In 2003, SINTECH FRANCE acquired the firm Ets Charles PECCAUD, a French manufacturer specialised in the permanent magnet motor, in order to be able to offer a more complete range of products.
